firstfruits - how we give back
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.
at avisualplanet we are passionate about visual creativity in worship, but we believe our worship needs to extend beyond the walls of our churches - God has blessed us so we can be a blessing to others.
we have partnered with two great organizations that are making a difference in our world, World Relief and International Justice Mission. funds raised by our first fruits program are split between these two worthy organizations. there are several ways that the artwork you see on avisualplanet contributes to our firstfruits program.
firstfruits from planet artists
- planet artists may chose to contribute one out of every ten images as a “tithe” offering.
- planet artists can contribute work that they may personally consider their “first fruits”.
- planet artists may also elect to allow any of their work to be used to create derivative works - collaborative works produced by that artist and avisualplanet staff. planet artists receive half of the revenues from derivative works and the other half is donated to one of our firstfruit charities.
firstfruits from you or your church
- do you have a photograph or piece of artwork you've created that speaks to you? maybe you have created visuals for your church that you would like to share with the global church community. churches or individuals can donate images to become part of our firstfruits program. all revenues collected from the use of these works will be donated to one of our firstfruit charities.
